So Many Events in September

We have been so busy this month with various community events. On Saturday, September 7th, we participated in Norwood Day and greeted thousands of visitors at our booth. Despite the threat of Hurricane winds and rains and with the delayed start, it turned out to be a lovely day and a perfect setting for an outdoor festival. Thank you to the Norwood Recreation Dept. for organizing such a great event and for communicating the delayed start time so efficiently.
On September 19th, we participated in the HESSCO Age Well Conference at the beautiful Luciano’s Restaurant at Lake Pearl. We welcomed several folks in the community to learn about ways to care for their loved ones, how to stay safe in one’s home as we age, and the various differences of assisted living facilities. An informative and exciting day for all that attended and sponsored. Thank you to HESSCO for organizing.
Finally, Team New Outlook Homecare walked in our 4th annual Greater Boston Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Sunday, September 22nd. Our team sported our lime green shirts and we were accompanied by our friendly canine companions – Lola and Bailey. Together, we raised over $500 and the Walk generated over one million dollars to benefit research and care for those living with Alzheimer’s. It is always such a moving and inspirational day and we are so proud that we can be a part of it each year.
