Mick Morgans 2018

On March 10, 2018, New Outlook Homecare had the great pleasure of participating and sponsoring in the Mick Morgan 5K Run for HESSCO (Health and Social Services Consortium) to benefit Meals on Wheels, a national program that provides meals for seniors and individuals with disabilities. The program provides a vital lifeline, which includes a wellness check and a friendly visit. In fact, 92% of recipients say that Meals on Wheels has allowed them to remain at home, where they want to be.

March 10th was a beautiful and sunny day filled with energy, silly St. Patrick Day costumes and enthusiasm. The race went along a challenging route with a lovely view of the Walpole Country Club. There were many hills, but runners persevered. Owner and founder of New Outlook Homecare, Pearly Evans, participated for the first time. “I can’t believe I did it,” she said as she crossed the finish line. It was incredibly motivating to see neighbors coming out of their homes to cheer runners on and push them to complete the 3.3 miles.

New Outlook Homecare was proud to be a silver sponsor for the race and look forward to participating next year. For more information about the run or HESSCO, visit their website at www.hessco.org.
